E-mail system protection

E-mail is currently one of the most important communication tools for companies. Mail servers forward and store significant amounts of business information, constituting an important but also vulnerable element of the company’s infrastructure, which must be tightly secured. Mail servers are flooded with vast amounts of messages containing, for example, unwanted offers, various newsletters, but also trick messages intended to extract information or carrying threats such as botnets, which – reaching the e-mail users – could severely reduce their productiveness, but also markedly increase the risk of theft of the company’s data or intellectual property.

Large amounts of information on the e-mail servers also constitute a significant challenge for administrators in terms of ensuring proper and effective data protection, management, archiving and providing access for authorised people.
