Given the growing complexity of environments, increasing employee mobility and large number of locations, as well as variety of systems and increasing number of terminals themselves, network terminal management places great demands on administrators. In order for IT departments to be able to cope with the growing needs and numbers of tasks, and actions of administrator to be quick and have no adverse effects on the work efficiency of people using the terminals, it is becoming necessary to utilise work automation solutions enabling e.g.: remote application update, system patching and user rights control capabilities.
Such a solution must also be selected appropriately. In face of this avalanche of tasks, IT departments often do not have sufficient time and resources to search and test possible solutions by themselves, so it becomes a task for an external partner. The partner’s role is to propose the best solution, adequate for the organisation’s needs, as well as deploy and support the solution, enabling the administrators to focus on their primary tasks.
